Green Market Thammasat Rangsit
The Green Market on the campus at Thammasat University Rangsit, is one of those rare gems that has the ability to nourish the community and support the local farmers. It’s more like a network really than a market with organic growers ranging in size from area’s near Bangkok like Pathum Thani, Sing Buri, Ang Thong and SaKeow.

These seasonal farmers plant according to the season and always amaze us with the abundance and diversity they bring to the Bo.lan larder. The beauty of the network is that the farmers all visit and vet each others farms to ensure everyone in the community is growing according to organic and sustainable practices.

P Noi is the farmer that brings all this wonderful produce together from the network twice a week to Bo.lan where the reusable foldable crates may contain wonders like torch ginger flower, dok blang, dok kajorn, fresh rosella, edible herbs and flowers, several varieties of bananas or mangoes, all depending on the season.

Go to the green market At Thammasat, Rangsit Center, open Monday and Thursday at the Rajasuda Health Center, from 6am to 2pm.
Sanamchaiket Organic Network
Sanamchaiket organic network could easily be considered the first in the Thailand having been established since 1818. The group is now one of the largest certified organic networks in the country, comprising of hundreds of organic producers. The network itself now actively promotes organics to other networks across the region and has set up a seed bank.

The group's focus is now on genetic purity and food security for the organic agricultural sector. Being fully integrated up and down, the group are set for a long and healthy future and Bo.lan is proud to source from their broad and diverse network.
Sutee Organic Farm
Sutee Organics Farm

Sutee Preechavut, a professional engineer working in the city, one day decided to take over his fathers fruit orchard.  Gradually over five years he converted a once conventionally farmed orchard into an organic fruit wonderland.

Organic fruit in Thailand is considered a challenge to say the least, famers can’t just leave their tree’s unattended otherwise the insects and pest will consume the years crop. Blemishes and odd shaped fruit are frowned upon in our modern conformist society so competing with wax covered fruits stacking the market shelf has proved challenging.

Sutee seasonal Orchard provides Bo.lan with amazing mangosteens, rambutans, durians longan and other distinctly tropical wonders. Follow him on FB: Sutee Preechavut

Udompun Orangery
Udompun citrus farm Is located in Chiang Mai but unlike other citrus farms famous in the area they grow organically, rejecting the use of pesticides. So much so, they have grown a buffer zone around their farm to stop any contamination that may occur from near by industrial agriculture.

Orange fruits all year, meaning the growers always have several stages happening at one time within the orchard, or even on a single tree. By growing organically and using using natural effective microorganisms the growers and consumers are ensured a much healthier exchange and they can harvest all year round without the risk of contamination.
