Pla Organic was formed by activist Supaporn Anuchiracheeva. P Nuch as she’s affectionately know at Bo.lan, supports responsible fishing in Thailand by small scale fishermen and organic fisheries, the group works closely with villages specifically promoting responsible fishing in provinces such as Phang Nga, Krabi, Songkla, Petchaburi, Satun, Patalung and Pattani.

 

Pla Organics shares profits directly with fishermen and help to empower the communities to set up long term sustainable business models. All seafood products from Pla Organic are certified chemical free by the Organic Agriculture Certification Thailand. 

 

We’ve spent several trips with the fishing communities of Pla Organics network and through these tasty conversations have been able to share knowledge and improve the quality of seafood we’re serving at Bo.lan.
